Adrenal Stress

Patients can conduct a saliva or urine cortisol test to assess adrenal hormones. This involves collecting four non-invasive samples over the course of one day, from which ZRT is able to generate results with a diurnal cortisol curve. This four-point graph reveals cortisol levels throughout the day and allows health care providers to pinpoint issues with adrenal gland function.

GI Spotlight Test

The GI Spotlight functional wellness test analysis provides an in-depth look into the health of the gut microbiome. The human gastrointestinal (GI) tract contains an ecosystem with more than four trillion microbes, living in a symbiotic relationship with their host, while performing duties essential to the health of the individual, such as assisting with digestion, hormonal balance, immune modulation, and neurotransmitter function.

Nutritional Status

Proper nutritional intake is essential to overall health and provides raw materials the body needs to function in the form of carbs, proteins, fats, vitamins, and minerals. Get an insight into a wide range of symptoms and conditions. We will look at urine and plasma amino acids, fatty acids, erythrocytes, urine halides, plasma methylation, folate metabolism, and fat soluble vitamins.

Wellness Metrics

This test allows for early detection of insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, and type 2 diabetes. Also can identify hormone imbalances associated with Menopause, PCOS, Weight Gain, Vit D Deficiency, and Hypothyroidism.

CardioMetabolic Risk

Cardiovascular disease remains the second leading cause of death in North America. Metabolic syndrome (Mets) is a risk factor for CVD and renal damage. Early detection and reduction of risk factors before the disease progresses is imperative. This comprehensive profile evaluates up to 16 primary and secondary risk factors, focuses on biomarkers including oxidized LDL, PLAC, and glycomark. All while supporting early detection associated with CVD, MetS, and type 2 diabetes.

Environmental Exposure

Environmental chemical exposure has never been more pervasive with thousands of chemicals in use around the world. Many chemicals are integrated into our food supply, the air we breathe and the water we drink. This test will gauge the body's ability to eliminate toxins. It will look at DNA oxidative damage, glutathione, erythrocytes, hepatic detox profile, urine porphyrins, and DNA methylation profile.

Toxic + Essential Elements

This will asses key minerals and harmful metals by looking at whole blood, serum elements, hair elements, urine toxic, and stool toxic metals. Many elements are considered nutrients and are essential for the proper functioning of the body.  Conversely, there are a number of elements that are toxic to the human body, interfere with its functioning and undermine health.

Weight Management Profile

The Weight Management Profile identifies hormonal imbalances that contribute to obesity, weight gain and difficulty losing or sustaining a healthy weight. Used as a screening tool, the profile also serves as a powerful early indicator of insulin resistance and risks for metabolic syndrome, hormonal imbalances, and diabetes.

Drinking Water

Test your water for contaminants that can affect your family's health. Many of the toxic elements people are exposed to can be found in our drinking water. For example lea from out of date plumbing, heavy metals, and high levels of fluoride. We test for 17 elements plus the pH level and fluoride level to determine whether your water maybe contaminated.

Gastrointestinal Health

Clinical microbiology plays a crucial role in individual and community health. Because most microbes living on or within the body are beneficial, distinguishing those that are disease. producing is a critical function of a clinical microbiology laboratory, This assesses the status of pathogens, viruses, parasites, and bacteria potentially contributing to acute or chronic gastrointestinal symptoms and disease.

Genetic Weight Control

The FindWhy™ Weight Control test identifies DNA variations  and is based on a detailed analysis. This test is a risk assessment test and is not a diagnostic test.

This test is designed to shed light on an individual’s genetic background, and therefore allow patients to create a weight loss plan that will help overcome possible predispositions, and to help them achieve lasting results.
